In Hatboro, PA this homeowner had an old cellar door that really need to be replaced, so they called Steelway. One of our sales representatives went out to take measurements and realized that the foundation underneath the cellar door was in pretty rough shape. We sent our concrete crew out to re-do the foundation and measured for the new cellar door based off of the new foundation. We manufactured the new custom, angle cellar door in our King of Prussia plant. On the day of installation, one of our crews went back out to Hatboro, removed the concrete forms, and installed the custom angle cellar door. Looks so much nicer!

 

Adding a cellar door in Elkins Park, PA

This home in Elkins Park, PA wanted to add a cellar door so they reached out to Steelway! One of our sales representatives went out to take measurements and noticed that the foundation was in need of some concrete work. No problem for us! Our concrete crew went out, did some demo, set the forms, and poured the new concrete foundation. They then remeasured the area so the new custom cellar door. On the day of installation, the crew removed the forms and installed the custom, galvanized, angle cellar door. Great job guys!

 

Concrete foundation, pad, and Flat cellar door replaced in Phoenixville, PA

In Phoenixville, PA, this homeowner had an old flat cellar door that was failing.  They reached out to Steelway, and one of our sales representatives went out and noticed not only was the door failing, but the foundation the door was on, was also failing.  Our experienced, and amazing, concrete division removed the old cellar door, demolished the concrete foundation, set forms, poured new concrete, measured for the new cellar door to be manufactured in our King of Prussia, PA plant, and secured the area over a 2-day period.  Not only did they do the concrete foundation, but they also did the concrete pad leading up to the cellar door.  Once the custom flat cellar door with foundation plates was fabricated, the crew went back out, pulled the forms, and finished up the installation.  What a great job these guys did!

 

Angle door installed on a newly poured foundation in Newtown Square, PA

This home in Newtown Square, PA had a cellar door that was in need of not just replacing, but also needed to have masonry repairs to the foundation. As you can see, the old foundation the cellar door was sitting on was cracked and falling apart. We sent out one of our Sales Representatives to take measurements so we could manufacture a new angle cellar door. We used those measurements to fabricate a custom size cellar door in the plant in King of Prussia. Since there was concrete work to be done to the foundation, this installation was over a few days. The first day, our experienced crew went out to do the demo of the old cellar door and foundation. The next day, we went back out to pour the concrete into the forms for the new foundation, and finally a few days later, we went back out and installed the custom angle cellar door on top of the newly poured foundation. Now this home in Newtown Square has a safe and reliable basement entrance!

 

Pottstown, PA redid their foundation and Angle cellar door

This house in Pottstown, PA not only needed a new angle cellar door, but the concrete foundation underneath needed to be redone. After doing demo to the old cellar door and foundation, the crew set forms and poured concrete. Once the concrete had time to set, and the custom size door was manufactured, the crew installed the angle cellar door.

 

Galvanized Angle cellar door on a new concrete foundation in Newtown Square, PA

This homeowner in Newtown Square, PA had enough of this old cellar door leaking, so they reached out to Steelway. One of our sales representatives went out to measure for us to manufacture in our King of Prussia plant and noticed that the concrete under the cellar door was in very poor shape and should be redone. We sent out the concrete crew to remove the old cellar door and demolish the concrete foundation underneath. Once all that was done, the crew set the forms and poured the new concrete foundation. The crew verified the measurements of the new angle cellar door and covered the hole to allow the concrete to cure while the custom door was fabricated. On installation day, the crew went back out, removed the concrete forms and installed the new galvanized angle cellar door. A lot of work, but well worth it in the end. Great job guys!

 

Foundation had to be re-done in order to install new angle door in Flourtown, PA

In Flourtown, PA these steps and door were beyond repair. The homeowner called Steelway, so we had one of our experienced sales representatives go out to assess the situation. The sales rep took measurements so we could manufacture a new cellar door in our King of Prussia plant. When the door was ready, we sent out the best concrete crew we have. They removed the old door, and demo’ed the old concrete foundation. They set up forms and poured the concrete for the new foundation, then went back the next day to install the newly manufactured galvanized, standard size, angle cellar door and new wood stairs to the basement. In West Chester, PA this builder contacted us to manufacture a cellar door as they were building the house. One of our sales representatives went out to measure for the custom oversized angle door that we used to fabricate in our King of Prussia plant. Since we are practicing social distancing, the manufacturing took a bit longer than usual, but we got it done and a 1 man crew went out to install. Great job!

Custom Jumbo Angle door installed in Wilmington, DE

While the home is being built, the builder called us to fabricate and install a custom size cellar door.  After we went out and got the measurements, we manufactured the door in the King of Prussia plant.  On the day of installation, our expert crew went out and installed this custom Jumbo, galvanized angle cellar door on the flat foundation.  Looking good in Wilmington!
