This home in Wynnewood, PA had an old basement window and well that they wanted to upgrade to a window well egress, so they reached out to Steelway. One of our sales representatives went out to get measurements for us. This project would be over 3 days for our concrete division. They demolished the old well, set forms, and HAND poured all that concrete for the new well. After the concrete had time to dry, we went back and installed the custom egress cover. A lot of hard work, but no trouble for our amazing concrete division!
This homeowner in Bryn Mawr, PA had just a standard basement window. They reached out to Steelway to enquire about turning it into an egress window so that they could finish the basement. Since they have a stone foundation, the well around the window would have to be poured on-site. No problem for our incredible concrete division. The crew cut into the patio around the current well, dug out the well, placed the rebar, set the forms, poured the concrete, cut the stone foundation for the new egress window, installed PVC pipe to drain into the sump pit, pulled the forms, installed the window, placed the ladder, and finally installed the egress cover! This all happens over several days, but it’s no problem for our concrete division! They take pride in their work, and it shows. Another happy customer in Bryn Mawr, PA!

In Doylestown, PA this homeowner called Steelway when they decided to add an egress window. One of our sales representatives went out to take measurements and assess the area to see which egress window would work best. Once we received the permit back from the township, one of the crews went out, excavated the area, cut into the foundation, and installed a precast concrete egress window. Now the homeowners can finish their basement, and even have a bedroom near where this was installed if they choose. Great job guys!
This home in Ambler, PA wanted to add an egress window to their basement, and also update their old window well, so they reached out to Steelway. One of our sales representatives met with the homeowner to discuss their options. After permits were approved, decisions made, parts manufactured, we sent a crew out on installation day. They excavated, cut into foundation, and installed a precast window well egress on one side of the home. The installers removed the old window well that was old, and constantly allowing dirt and debris in, blocking the basement window. We installed a well and cover combo unit in its place, which allows natural light, but keeps out the dirt and debris. Great job guys!
In West Chester, PA this homeowner wanted to replace her old well and window with a steel well basement egress. We sent one of our sales representatives out to take measurements for the proper size well and window for this tight spot. One the day of installation, one of our installation crews went out, dug out the old well, removed the window, and installed the Egress window and special sized steel well. We also had to fabricate a special size top, which had to be manufactured after the initial install. We went back the following day to install that on top of the grate. Now the basement of this West Chester town home can legally be occupied since they have a code compliant egress window. Great job guys!
