No more Alligator style in Wilmington, DE

Down in Wilmington, DE this homeowner had an old “Alligator” style cellar door that was failing. It was rusty, and no longer stayed open on its own. This design is not a safe design because when it does start to fail like this, it can come down and shut on your head! One of our sales representatives went out to take the measurements for us to manufacture a custom angled door, with double doors hinged on the side (a much safer design), in our King of Prussia plant. On the day of installation, one of our crews removed the old Alligator style door, performed some masonry repairs to the foundation, and installed the custom angled cellar door. We think this looks much better, don’t you?
