 This Plymouth Meeting, PA homeowner not only wanted to replace her old angle cellar door, but they also had concrete work that needed to be done. We sent an expert crew out to remove the old door and concrete. They put the wood forms in place, pour the concrete, and let cure for several days. In the meantime, we go take the new measurements for the angle cellar door and manufacture it right in our King of Prussia plant. This home in Pottstown, PA did not have a covered walk-out, so the homeowner reached out to Steelway.  They wanted to cover the area to help keep out dirt, volume water, and debris.  One of our sales representatives went out to measure the opening.  The foundation in place was not sufficient enough to hold a cellar door, so it became a job for the concrete division!  The concrete crew went out, did some demo, dug around the area for the forms, set the forms, poured the concrete, then measured for the new custom flat cellar door, before securing the area to let the concrete cure.  After the custom flat cellar door was manufactured in our King of Prussia, PA plant, one of the crews went back out, removed the forms, and installed the newly fabricated flat cellar door.  What a great improvement!

 

Adding an Angle Cellar Door to a basement walk out in Haverford, PA

In Haverford, PA this homeowner gave Steelway a call when they decided they wanted to cover up this walkout from their basement. The walls were really in poor shape and would have to be rebuilt. We sent our best concrete crew out to demo the walls, set the forms, and pour the concrete. Once the concrete set and was dry, we sent out the installation crew to install the newly manufactured custom angled cellar door. From start to finish, this was a big job, but nothing our amazing crews couldn’t handle!

This Hatboro, PA homeowner had an old, failing wood cellar door that was in need of some work, so they reached out to Steelway.  Not only did the door need to be replaced, but the concrete foundation underneath was also in need of some work.  One of our sales representatives went out to measure the area, and in addition to a new foundation and cellar door, the homeowner also wanted 2 new custom window well covers.  Our experienced concrete division went out and removed the old wood cellar door, demolished the foundation, set the forms, poured new concrete, and measured for the custom angled cellar door, which we fabricated in our King of Prussia, PA plant.  After the concrete had time to cure, the concrete division went back out, pulled the forms, and installed the newly manufactured custom, angled cellar door, along with the 2 window well covers.  Great job guys!  What a difference!

 

New Concrete foundation and Angle cellar door installed in Huntingdon Valley, PA

At this Huntingdon Valley, PA home, this cellar door was rusted and failing. The foundation was falling apart underneath and needed to be redone. One of our sales representatives went out to assess the foundation and cellar door. The foundation was so bad, that he was unable to get measurements at that time. After the foundation was redone, we would have to measure for the custom cellar door. This foundation is no problem for our concrete crew! They went out removed the old cellar door and did demo to what was left of the foundation, set forms, and poured concrete. Now we were able to go and get the correct measurements and manufacture a custom angle cellar door in the King of Prussia plant. As soon as the cellar door was complete, the crew went back out and installed on the newly poured concrete foundation. Much improved at this Huntingdon Valley residence!
